The 40th birthday of the NZ Polo Open event provided an excellent opportunity to promote the Sport of Kings to Aucklanders & encourage attendance of this exciting event. Our talented editorial team scoured the fabulous International polo world for fascinating features such as showcasing an ex-professional ballet dancer now model, Australian Polo event producer and Polo magazine publisher Natalie Decorte, a profile on wunderkind Argentine polo star Juan Britos as well as local female polo player Ellen Morgenstern. This combined with curating, sourcing and designing extensive fashion and beauty content, a retrospective on Auckland Polo and producing features educating spectators on the exciting sport of polo culminated in an absorbing read. The magazine provided a valuable vehicle for Auckland Polo Club and the Open team to promote their event as well as proved a value proposition for their sponsorship family, all without having to do any of the work themselves. The magazine was distributed via the NZ Herald and in VIP marquees at the event.
