The Home of Building Inspiration
Working in close partnership with Master Builders, we manage the complete consumer-facing lifecycle for the prestigious House of the Year regional and national competitions. Our team handles the end-to-end production of both the printed magazines and the digital platform, ensuring a seamless experience for builders and homeowners alike.
We coordinate professional architectural photography for every entrant, while our talented writers craft bespoke feature articles for approximately 300 homes annually. Our editorial team develops compelling content that sits alongside a robust advertising strategy, managed by our sales team to ensure the publications remain commercially successful and sustainable.
From a logistics perspective, we oversee the entire print management process and coordinate a massive nationwide distribution network. This includes direct postage, letterbox delivery, and securing placement in key retail outlets such as supermarkets and bookstores.
Finally, we developed and continue to manage the House of the Year website, a digital library showcasing more than a decade of building excellence and award-winning New Zealand craftsmanship.
What We Do

Advertising sales
We manage the advertising sales across the entire regional series, connecting local trades and national brands with homeowners. We develop tailored packages to drive revenue while ensuring every advert looks professional.
Print Management
We oversee the production of nine regional editions alongside a premium national magazine for newsstands. We manage the entire process, from paper stock selection to final press, ensuring consistent quality across every issue.
Distribution
We manage a multi-channel distribution strategy to ensure maximum reach across New Zealand. This includes targeted letterbox deliveries, as well as securing prominent placement in selected supermarkets and bookstores nationwide.
Website
We developed and manage a high-performance website to showcase excellence in residential construction. The platform provides a seamless way for users to explore award-winning homes, featuring rich galleries and builder profiles.
